Australian Fundraising News (April 2015)

Every day, thousands of Australians give their time and talent to organisations throughout the country.

Volunteers strengthen many areas of community life including health, social services, sports and recreation, arts and culture, literacy, the environment, human rights and international development. Whether you volunteer every week or once a year, as part of an ongoing program, on a short-term project, or for a special event, your time will make a difference.

During the last few months there has been a few changes in our volunteers within TOP, whom we would like to thank! Bill Waterer, Board member, State Rep of WA, Merchandise Coordinator and Treasurer with over 10 years with the TOP team who brought many managerial skills, Amber Anile who as our State Rep of Victoria for over 5 years continually raised the bar with her events and enthusiasm, Amanda Moore our Customers Service Administrator and Alison Roberts our NT Rep who has decided to step down due to her work and full-time study commitments.

We would like to Welcome Clare Campbell as our new Acting Treasurer, Tiffany Smith and Christelle Buckschun as our new Victorian and Queensland Reps and Amy Nelson who is standing in for Jodie Ellen in SA while she takes a well-earned break. Thank you all for being part of the TOP team!

By volunteering, you can give your time and skills to the cause and issues that matter to you. Volunteering is a way to get connected to the people and places where you live so please check out the Job descriptions on our Vacancy page to see ways to get involved. Vacancies available are Merchandise Coordinators in SA, QLD, VIC, TAS, ACT and WA and a Northern Territory and WA State Representative. Each of the State Reps are more than happy to get in touch with you if you can spare only a few hours to help at an event.

Thanks, Marion
