It is with great excitement and pleasure that I introduce you to our new QLD State Representative Christelle Buckschun, Jacquie Wright, our new Merchandise Coordinator and Tanya Rainieri our support Brisbane Coordinator who has joined the world of orangutan conservation and fundraising.
This new team will take over my role and ensure that the future fundraising goals of QLD will keep going!
I am not leaving TOP, just the State Rep role and will be continuing my roles as Communication Coordinator and Board position, and of course you will see me on the stalls and at some events.
So it’s not goodbye but hello to a new great team……

I am very excited to take on the Role of State Representative for Queensland. After returning from Borneo almost 2 years ago I was looking for a way to continue to help the Orangutan. And this role seems to be the perfect way to participate. I have received such a warm welcome from the team and volunteers so far. I look forward to learning more of what the role involves and doing whatever I can to assist in raising those much needed funds to help with Orangutan conservation.
Since taking on the role, I have hit the ground running supporting the Gold Coast team in preparing for our first event. We have had so much support from the local community to help us create an event which will guarantee success. Jenny, Hannah and Natalie make a great team and with their combined skills and passion they have created a very exciting event. I look forward to sharing our success in a future E News edition.
