The girls in the north of the State had another successful Launceston Show raising over $1,300.

Thank you to wonderful volunteers Jan, Kathy, Honey and Linda and her wonderful other half for all their support in managing to cover the 3 days of the Show.  Certainly down on last year but nonetheless a wonderful result for all the hard work.

In the south of the State, World Animal Day was spent at the beautiful Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens  in Hobart. After a very overcast and cold start, the sun came out and we hit 23 degrees - a Tassie heatwave! Day 1 of the Spring Festival netted over $700 for the orangutan cause. Thanks to volunteers Rebecca & Ray Edwards and Julia and Ursula Woods for their help on the day. Sadly due to bad weather, we weren't able to have the stall on Day 2.

The Sustainable Festival in Hobart was held over 8 & 9 November on the Hobart Waterfront.  Many thanks to Ursula, Julia, Rebecca, Tina, Carol and John for their support in manning the stall over the 2 days.  Whilst down considerably on last year due to a few factors, we still managed to raise $780. Well done team, it's been a busy but successful couple of months.

Saturday 29 November we will have a stall at the Salamanca Markets.
