TOP Education Project

Orangutans, native to the rainforests of Indonesia and Malaysia, are a beautiful and intelligent species; they are at great risk of disappearing forever.  Their habitat is being destroyed at the rate of 300 hundred football fields an hour.  Only 25% of viable rainforest habitat remains

They share 97% DNA with humans.

The environment is becoming an ever increasing concern for all Australians, especially our youth.  We believe that the youth of Australia can make the big difference in the coming years.  By assisting the The Orangtuan Project your school can help save not only the orangutan, but many other endangered animals.

Join in our educational activities that will help your class become part of the solution and assist in saving this iconic species.  The activities and worksheets have been created mainly for primary school children.  However, many of them have been designed in a flexible manner so that they can be altered to suit the interest and ability level of each child.

Calling on all schools - please help top and join together by “Colouring it Orangefor the orangutans in your school and learning more about the plight of the orangutan.

It is a single project that helps so many. Our hope is that once you become aware of the plight of the orangutan, you will be inspired to become part of the solution.
