Bohork, in Sumatra
There is a tourist site to see orangutans at Bohorok, near Medan North Sumatra. Here local guides can take tourists on forest treks. No real rehabilitation occurs on this site and some orangutans are kept in cages to display to tourists. However some organisations are trying to develop its educational value. The village was recently destroyed by the floods and the area may still be recovering.

Sepilok, in Sabah
This is a very commercial tourist destination, which will allow easy viewing of ex-captive orang utans. Can be booked through any travel agent.

Semagok, near Kuching in Sarawak
There is a small center within a short distance of Kuching. This can offer comfortable viewing of ex-captive and captive orang utans. The trip can be organised from any Hotel in Kuching.

Wanariset, in East Kalimantan
This is closed to tourists. You will need some zoological connection to see orang utans here.
