Documentation of orangutan eco-ethology at an intensive study area located in lot 2 of the LKWS and to use this information to design wise orangutan management strategy of populations that are found in multiple-use forests throughout Sabah. Using research as a vehicle for enhancing local capabilities and for promoting awareness about the needs to protect orangutans in Malaysia.
