vic fundraising event - photo exhibition - richmondCreated 3rd Apr 2008 Exhibition of Photographs Open Day
Saturday 12th April. 9am to 5pm
All welcome
This selection of works shown in this exhibition are raw and natural images highlighting the living environment
and habitat of the Orangutans of Borneo Indonesia. This environment is rapidly being depleted through deforestation and
oil palm plantations and action needs to be taken to save these amazing relations of ours.
The works in this exhibition represent nature and struggle that
our closest primates face. It is about survival. It is about us
helping them fight and save the land they need to call home and
it is about individuals standing together in respecting this right.
The photographs in this exhibition are an insight into the lives
of these magnificent animals. It shares the highlights, the joys
and the devestation that is now putting the Orangutans fight for
survival on the world stage.
All proceeds from this exhibition will fund the
preservation and conservation of Orangutans of the Nyaru
Menteng project in Borneo, Indonesia.
