PNG update on Palm Oil IssuesA note from a concerned person has altered us to this news Bad things are happening also in Papua New Guinea in regard to deforestation for oil palm. Extensive areas on the PNG Outer Islands have already gone under oil palm and the main island is being targeted. Including PNG in the campaign to draw Australian political attention to the impacts of using palm oil may have impact given our major aid support and thus taxpayer involvement in PNG.
